Hello ,
first you must know is that Openbcm is NOT A 64 BIT PROGRAM !
The Source DOES NOT COMPILE WITH A 64 BIT COMPILER
you have to install the 32 bit compiler with 32 bit librarys on your 64 bit
Linux Machine
Then there the Makefile does not know the existence of cpp 5.x.x
so it calls the current cpp compiler with the wrong options
this ends with many compiler errors and prevents you from
successfully compiling openbcm
I have make a few changes in the current makefile , and at the end , openbcm
compiles successfull on my 64 bit oprnsuse Tumbleweed Linux Distribution
here are the updated Makefile :
