Hi Hannes and all concerned,
after several tests of new obcm git releases I'm
having 'now' the following failures:

The kernel used is:
Linux ir0aab 4.4.153-smp #2 SMP Tue Aug 28 14:36:05 CDT 2018 i686 Intel(R)
Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux
The main failure effects are that, while the
monitor activity *appears* a bit normal, the CPU
percentage slow down to about 30-35 percent and
the 'bct' or the telnet connection to the PBBS
freezes :(
As per my concern I'm almost convinced that the
newest linux kernels have the major implications.
