8R     - Aldir, PY1SAD  has been active again as  8R1TM  from Guyana since 1
         June, and expects to remain there until 8 July. He operates CW, SSB
         and digital modes  on  160-6 metres  and via satellite.  During the
         weekdays he is  QRV between  23 UTC and 2 UTC.  QSL via LoTW, eQSL,
         QRZ Logbook, or direct to home call.
F      - Celebrating IARU's 100th anniversary, Dimitri, F4DSK and Lee, F5MUX
         will be active as  TM0IARU  on 7-21 June.  They will operate mainly
         SSB and CW. QSL via LoTW and eQSL. Paper QSLs are not needed.
FO     - G0VJG, will be active holiday style as FO/G0VJG from Bora Bora (OC-
         067), French Polynesia on  10-26 June.  He will operate SSB, CW and
         FT8 on 80-6 metres. QSL via M0OXO's OQRS and LoTW.
FW     - The  DX Obsessed Group  (https://www.dxobsessed.org/home)  will  be
         active as FW5K from Wallis Island (OC-054) from 20 October to 7 No-
         vember, including a Multi-2 entry in the CQ WW DX SSB Contest.  Six
         operators  (K6VHF, KA6BIM,  N7JI, NC7M, NG7E, W7HER) will be QRV on
         160-6 metres CW, SSB, FT8 and RTTY.  QSL via Club Log's OQRS;  QSOs
         will be uploaded to LotW 6 months after the end of the DXpedition.
G      - Look for  M/ON6EF/p  and  M/ON1BN/p  to be active from the Isles of
         Scilly (EU-011)  on 25-28 July.  They will participate in the  IOTA
         Contest as G6EFW/p (QSL via ON6EF;  QSOs will be uploaded  to  eQSL

H40    - Lance, W7GJ  will be active as  H40GJ  from Pigeon Island (OC-065),
         Temotu Province on  8-27 August. This will be a  6m EME DXpedition,
         using Q65-60A in the "Q65 Pileup" mode.  For detailed information &

         "When I am not aimed up at the moon, I will be monitoring 50.313 on
         FT8 mode", Lance says.  "Please take the initiative to call  my di-
         rection  when you think  there may be  ionospheric propagation.  If
         propagation is good and there are many callers, I may switch to FT4
         or FT8 F/H on a frequency to be announced". QSL via LoTW, or direct

JA     - JS6UVS  (JH1LHD),  JS6UVT  (JO3TND),  JS6UVU  (JE1XUZ), and  JS6UVV
         (JA1SJS) are heading to  Cape Irizaki (PL14lk),  the western tip of
         Yonaguni Island (AS-024) and the westernmost point in Japan,  for a
         "field expedition"  to take place on 6-9 June.  Activity will be on
         CW, SSB, FM, FT8  and FT4  on 6m, 2m, 70cm, 23cm, and some HF bands
         (especially at night).  QSL  via  LoTW  and  Club Log's  OQRS.  See

JD1_oga- Kou, JP1IHD  will be active again as  JD1BQP (https://x.com/jd1bqp)
         from Chichijima (AS-031), Ogasawara on 15-21 June. Activity will be
         focused on 6 metres using SSB and FT8/FT4.  QSL via JP1IHD (direct)
         or JD1BQP (bureau); QSOs will be uploaded to LoTW and Club Log.
KL     - Puneit, VU2TUM  and  his wife  Neha, VU2HUM  will be active as KL7/
         VU2TUM and KL7/VU2HUM between 7 and 20 June while on a road trip to
         various locations in  Alaska,  possibly including POTA sites.  They
         will be QRV on  40-6 metres,  as well as  on 2m and 70cm.  QSLs via

OZ     - Joergen OZ0J,  Anders OZ3ACB,  Soeren OZ9U and possibly others will
         be active as SM/OV2E from Aspo Island (EU-138) on 24-28 July,  IOTA
         Contest included.  Outside the contest  they will operate  SSB, CW,
         and digital modes on the HF bands and 6 metres.  QSL via OZ0J; QSOs
         will be uploaded to LoTW and Club log. [TNX NG3K]
PA     - Dennis, PA2DK  and  Pim, PA5PR  will be active as PC38EU from Texel
         Island (EU-038) on 25-28 July,  including participation in the IOTA
         Contest. QSL via the bureau and LOTW.
SV9    - Team  SX9G  (SV1DPJ,  SV1ENG, SV1GE,  SV1JG, SV1YU,  DD2CW,  G0PZA,
         HB9EBC and VK2IR) will be active from Gavdos Island (EU-187) on 24-
         29 July, IOTA Contest included.  QSL via  Club Log's OQRS,  or  via
         ON3UN.
TK     - Pascal, F6UIG will be active as TK2C  from Corsica (EU-014) on 9-23
         June.  He will operate  CW and SSB on  40-10 metres.  He could also
         be QRV as TK/F6UIG/p while doing some POTA activities.
UA0    - Team RI0CR  (R3BY, R5EM, RU3EG, RU5D, RW3XA, RZ3EC and UA3EDQ) will
         be active from Ustrichnyy Island (AS-114) on 15-20 July.  They will
         operate CW, SSB and digital modes  on  40-10 metres.  QSL via RZ3EC

V4     - Once again John, W5JON will be active as V47JA from  St. Kitts (NA-
         104) on 15-24 June.  He will operate SSB and FT8  on various bands,
         with a focus on 6 metres. QSL via LoTW, or direct only to W5JON.
VE     - Jim, N6TQ  will be active as  N6TQ/VY0 from  Devon Island (NA-009),
         Nunavut  during the  first two weeks  of  July.  He  and  Matthias,
         KK7LJM  will be stationed at the  Flashline  Mars  Arctic  Research
         Station (https://fmars.marssociety.org/).  Plans are to be QRV when
         time permits and to operate CW (on or around 14040, 21040 and 28040
         kHz) and SSB (on or around  14260, 21260 and 28460 kHz)  "listening
         up".  They are members of the Advanced Team  tasked with assessing,
         repairing, and readying the research station for  the season ahead;
         expected dates are 3-12 July,  but they  may vary  due  to  weather

W      - This year's  Youth on the Air  summer camp for young radio amateurs
         aged 15-25 in the Americas will be held on  15-20 June near Denver,
         Colorado  (https://youthontheair.org/denver2025/).   Campers   will
         operate special event station  W0Y  during breaks between sessions.
         In addition,  there will be  dedicated operating times  on  the  HF
         bands and satellites,  as well as for a POTA/SOTA  activation  (see

YJ     - Bob, ZL1RS will be active as YJ0RS  from Efate (OC-035), Vanuatu on
         11-28 June. He will be QRV primarily on 6 metres FT8, with the main
         focus on ionospheric propagation  and some activity on 10 metres if
         the Magic Band is closed.  He will also be on 6m EME  for about one
         hour at each moonrise  and  moonset. QSL via LoTW, Club Log, or via

YV     - Look for team YW6M to operate SSB, CW, digital, and satellite  from

ZC4    - Dave, G4WXJ will be active again as ZC4RH from  Dhekelia, UK Sover-
         eign Base Areas on Cyprus on  14-20 June.  He will operate CW, SSB,

DAYTON  HAMVENTION  PHOTO  GALLERY ---> The  2025  Dayton  Hamvention  Photo

NCDXF GRANTS ---> The Northern California DX Foundation has announced grants
to the V6D DXpedition to Micronesia  ("this is a team  that has successfully
completed many DXpeditions  and  plans are readied  for success once again";
see https://v6d.mydx.de/),  and to the  3C2MD  DXpedition  to  Bioko Island,
Equatorial  Guinea  ("the  Mediterraneo DX Club  always  does  a  great  job
with their  DXpeditions   with  good  operators  and  all  modes/bands;  see
https://www.mdxc.support/3c2md/).
Another grant goes to Hannah Rosenfeld, W7HER  to be an operator on the FW5K
DXpedition to Wallis Island in late October.  "She is a very active amateur,
founder of the  University of Oregon Radio Club, W7DUX,  and   Youth Amateur
Radio  leader.  She promotes  radio sport activities  through  the  YMCA  in
Eugene, Oregon."

INDIA NEW PREFIXES ---> The  VU2 and VU3  prefixes were  first issued around
1929 and 1989,  respectively.  New amateur radio stations in  India  are now
being issued callsigns with new prefixes:
the prefix range of VU22 to VU29 is for General Grade licences;
The prefix range of VU32 to VU39 is for Restricted Grade licences.
The  first callsign  authorized  under the  new rules is  VU22DX,  issued to
Sandesh "Sandy" Bhat who has recently upgraded his previous Restricted Grade
licence of VU3FGJ.

QSL DP0GVN ---> Friedrich zur Hellen, DL4BBH  is the  new  QSL  manager  for
DP0GVN,  the  club station located at the  German Antarctic Research Station
"Neumayer III". The station is regularly activated by station personnel (the
current operator is Alex, DL2ALY,  who - as a member  of the  45th wintering
team - will remain there until December) as well as visitors.  QSL cards are
available direct or via the DARC QSL bureau. Logs are also being uploaded to
LotW. DL4BBH handles also the QSL cards for DP0POL(/mm), the research vessel
"Polarstern".

TISZA CUP 2025 ---> The 6th edition of the  Tisza Cup International CW  Con-
test will be held on 7 June (from 02.00 UTC to 14.59 UTC)  on 160-10 metres.
